The Loewy Lab, under the guidance of Dr. Rachel Loewy and based at the UCSF Department of Psychiatry, conducts research on early identification and treatment of psychosis. This includes broadening the research on identifying risk factors for developing psychosis, screening for and diagnosing prodromal psychosis, and testing novel interventions for early psychosis. Much of our current work is focused on implementation of high-quality, evidence-based treatments for early intervention in psychosis in community settings.
