Equity in Narrative Recovery Stories

The Loewy Lab is conducting a study to understand the experiences of people who identify as minorities in recovery from psychosis (UCSF IRB# 22-37513). We are looking for adults ages 18-35 who are from communities of color OR are LGBTQ to share their lived experiences in interviews that can be used to help reduce fear and shame associated with psychosis, as well as encourage cultural sensitivity from providers. Participants have the option to share their stories anonymously, or to participate in video-recorded interviews that will be shared in an effort to reduce stigma. Participants can give limited permission about where their videos are shared. The time commitment is roughly 5-10 hours over 2-8 weeks. Participants will be paid $100-200 for their time. Please contact [email protected] if interested, or for more information.
